Complaints Procedure

The RDI operates a formal complaints procedure (details on request). All members are required to uphold standards to the RDI's code of conduct. Where the RDI receives a complaint against a member it will quickly consult and establish whether grounds for the complaint are valid. All members are treated equally and in the event that a complaint is upheld the member will be expected to carry out remedial action or submit to compensation. In the event that a member is subject to three or more complaints nor not able in any single complaint to provide a satisfactory remedy, this will be deemed as bringing the RDI into disrepute and form grounds for expulsion. The scheme operates a formal appeal process in such circumstances.
